At Shandong University of Technology, it is extremely important to us that our foreign students feel welcome and comfortable in their new surroundings. Throughout their study, we have organized trips and days out so that our foreign students can experience Chinese culture and be actively involved in student life here at SDUT.

Our students learning the infamous Chinese Calligraphy Art. During study, foreign students can take part in Chinese Calligraphy classes to master their skills.

Our University’s Sports Day, a hugely celebrated tradition here at SDUT. All our foreign students take part in the opening ceremony proudly representing their country carrying their flag and even taking part in the events.

On the athletics track, students competing in some light sports for fun.  

Tea is an integral part of Chinese Culture and here our students experience how to make Chinese tea and sample a variety of flavours. 

In Chinese Calligraphy, it is tradition to stamp your art. Here, our students carve their names into stone, making it into a stamp that can be used either in calligraphy or letter writing.

Our students were treated to a performance by local musicians of different, famous Chinese traditional musical instruments.
