It means so much to us here at SDUT that our foreign students experience the ‘Real China’ so the School of International Education arrange excursions throughout the study year so that students can explore, learn and experience the vibrant and versatile cultural life here. 

Recently, our students went on a trip to Yiyuan to experience a day in the life of a local Chinese rural family. They were welcomed into their home, shown how they lived, taught Calligraphy and tasted local cuisine. 

In Boshan, our students visited a part of the spectacular Great Wall of the Ancient Qi State which boasts incredible history. They also went to the Coloured Glass Museum ,which is famous in Boshan, where they witnessed first-hand how it is made. 

Other trips include a visit to the capital city of Shandong, Jinan.
