Test Center

Shandong University of Technology (SDUT) boasts a state-of-art HSK internet-based testing center in cooperation with and approved by the Distance Learning Center of Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) after a rigorous review in 2011. HSK is an international standardized Chinese language (mandarin) proficiency test, focusing on testing the communicative skills of candidates in using Chinese as a non-first language in work, study and living scenarios. HSK internet-based test was approved and launched by Hanban in June 2010, as an alternative to the paper-based test. HSK internet-based test achieves paperless operations by supporting online testing in multiple formats such as listening, reading, and writing. HSK internet-based tests range from level 1 to level 6. The HSK Spoken language tests are conducted and recorded face to face and include beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. HSK internet-based test and HSK Spoken test are two separate exams.
